Hi All,
I hope you’re enjoying this balmy summer evening, it feels like this warm blanket we’ve been soaked in these past few days has been so long awaited that the relief and joy is glowing from peoples faces! Although it is a little harder on the small ones – mine stayed mostly in the cool today after getting very over heated in Kensington Palace Gardens yesterday. I took her to the Princess Diana Memorial playground, well worth a trip if you haven’t been yet – for the giant pirate ship alone! We did manage to call off and take a nice slow stroll along the Serpentine and also found a great ice cream parlour at Queensway called Fentons – I can highly recommend the toffee popcorn flavour ice cream!
This little newborn baby is cooling off in one of my hand made knitted baby pods during our photo shoot at his home in South East London last week. I was over joyed to return to meet this gorgeous little man after a lovely maternity session with his mummy a few weeks before. Luckily due to a nice airy room and summer breeze we managed to keep him cool to capture some beautiful portraits.
Sunday tomorrow and I’ll be heading over to the Southbank for a maternity portrait session in the afternoon, I think my wind machine will be very much appreciated if the temperature is anything like today!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Elle x
