Hi All,

It’s another beautiful Autumn day and I’m looking forward to sampling some of the festivities at the harvest festival on the Southbank today, I am hoping to make it there with my daughter after attending a friends fundraising coffee morning for Macmillan first. A lovely idea, lots of coffee and cake for the parents whilst raising some money for Macmillan at the same time.

I have a very busy weekend coming up with family and baby portrait sessions so today will be all about spending time with Bessie and getting a little sunshine 🙂

Before I head out here is one of my recent father and baby portraits taken at a newborn portrait session in South London. I always feel it’s important to have portraits of father & baby as well as mother & baby during my sessions, it’s these pictures that will be most treasured by their baby when they are grown. It’s a wonderful gift to give them, a visual record of not only how tiny they were in their arms but how their parents looked and looked at them when they were first born.
