Hello All,
What a nice start to the week with bright winter sunshine and a freshness in the air that marks the beginning of Spring (ok I know it’s only January – but lets think positive!).
I had a lovely weekend revisiting one of my Clients to complete their first year portrait package with their third session in the series. It’s wonderful to be a part of the journey and to document the first year from newborn to one year old – the changes are quite incredible from new baby to almost toddler. Each session is adapted to suit the age of the child so this one included lots of nursery rhymes and songs to coax out those giggles as well as a tea party with her favourite toys!
One of the things I love about photographing this age group at home is that we can incorporate their own toys and also allow them to play and come back into the studio pace at a leisurely pace without any pressure. I’m editing their final portraits to put into their family album and I can’t wait to see the completed collection together. Once their order is finished I will add a few sneak peaks to my website.
Today I’m delighted to share these newborn portraits taken at a recent photography session in Brockley, I love how alert this baby boy is at just two weeks old, looking straight into my camera whilst being gently lifted in his Daddy’s arms.
