Entering a new parents home to capture these moments is something that I do with care. It’s very early days, especially with your first born. There are lots of adjustments and I understand how that feels. With this in mind I will fit in around you and your family. Making sure that the experience is relaxing and enjoyable.

This beautiful baby boy was so tiny & perfect. I love the way he curled up in his mothers arms for this portrait. I always capture family, mother & baby, father & baby, baby on his / her own and the little detailed shots during a session. I like to tell a visual story with your pictures. We were lucky as this little one was so contented and slept through most of our session. I’m always on hand to help settle and cuddle the baby when needed.

We found some lovely sleep techniques with our little one. The ones that worked best for us were white noise, such as the popular Ewan the sheep. The amazing cocoonababy nest from John lewis. This clever little next is shaped to help baby feel secure. It even has a strap to help with the jumping reflex.

But it really does depend on your little one. Our daughter was the complete opposite to our son. She loved the baby swaddle where as he loved to have his arms free. It’s always great to share advice with other parents. The early weeks can be very tiring so anything that could help is good to pass on.
