As a baby photographer it is always a joy to welcome a new member of the family into the world. The first weeks are so precious and fleeting. I always feel very privileged to capture these intimate moments for my Clients.

For this session the proud big sister and older brother were on hand to assist me. They both joined in and provided plenty of cuddles for their newborn baby brother. They were very gentle with him and Mum provided kind guidance.This adorable baby boy slept peacefully throughout our session and we were able to get many beautiful shots. For the group sibling portraits I ensured baby was always safe. I asked Mum & Dad to stay at the side for quick assistance if needed. Pillows were also carefully placed under my backdrop and floor cover. To ensure that the correct support was given. The safety and comfort of the baby are always my priority during a session.

The classic family portrait with everyone looking at their new baby is one of my favourites from this session. I love the look on his big sisters face! She is overjoyed!

There is always time of course to capture solo shots of the newborn. The ones I have chosen for this blog are of the tummy pose. He looked gorgeous with this soft angora hat. He also looked lovely without it to show off his gorgeous hair.

I’m so happy with the results, I think the emotions of the day are captured beautifully. I’m very excited to have been commissioned by the family for the 6month baby and one year old birthday photography sessions.
