Twins!! Sharing some portraits from one of my wonderful baby photographer sessions London SE1.

The arrival of newborn twins is incredibly special to capture. I love this selection of shots which were chosen by the family. It’s wonderful to be able to witness the connection between baby twins at just two weeks old. They sleep together, eat together and curl up beautifully together. Comforted by the sound of each others breathing. There is no doubt that being a parent of twins comes with challenges but so much joy to counter balance that.

Some of my twin paren’s have had two moses baskets or cots next to each other in the nursery. Others have them sleep together in the early weeks. One of my Clients had the gorgeous  Moba Moses Baskets, one in baby pink and one in baby blue for her twins. I love these super stylish baskets for newborns. They are so well designed, can be thoroughly cleaned and most importantly are super comfortable for baby.

Photographing twins does come with it’s challenges and I always allow extra time for newborn twin photography sessions. However these two perfect boys were very easy to settle together thanks to Mum!

Once one was comfortable and asleep in the baby studio, i would work on settling the other close by. Laying them on top of each other is one of the trickier shots and I’m so pleased with this one. As always my priority is safety. My professional baby posing studio is perfect for positioning newborns. I also ask one of the parents to sit by the side whilst I take the shot to ensure they are comfortable & safe.  I love the way their heads are turned towards each other and their hands are touching.

As a Baby Photographer, capturing these special moments is one of the best parts of my work.
