Baby Photography, Greenwich SE9

It was wonderful to return again for another Baby photography session for this family in Greenwich, SE9. To capture their baby boy turning one. Making a visual record of some very special moments with his big sister, Mum & Dad.

I especially love the joy on his face as his Daddy helped him to stand. Such a triumphant grin! His big sister was more than happy to provide lots of entertainment and hugs for her younger brother.

A baby session is full of energy and I work with the children and the family to make the session fun. It’s important to engage with them and make them feel comfortable. I like to play games, sing songs and chat about their favourite toys. It is also good to take short breaks during the session. This helps to help restore energy levels. Children need plenty of snacks and water. I advise parents to have some on hand. Making sure your children have had something to eat before I arrive can also help.

A photography session in your home is perfect for children. it helps to keep them relaxed & happy. I bring a professional ‘pop up’ studio and lighting with me. They can watch me set up, ask questions and be involved with the whole process. Being in their own home means children don’t feel too overwhelmed. It is a huge compliment to be asked to photograph my Clients children year after year. I first photographed this family three years earlier when their daughter turned one years old. They wanted black & white pictures to compliment them.

After our session I prepared their private gallery. They selected a beautiful gallery frame and a set of professionally prepared digital images.

I’m so pleased with the results from this session. I especially love the sibling shot I’ve included with this post. Two peas in a pod.
