I love this snuggled newborn portrait from one of my Baby Photography South London UK sessions. With Christmas approaching I have been exploring different soft, textured blankets for my newborn sessions. This one mixes in perfectly with the classic black & white family & parent portraits. It has been a firm favourite with my Clients.

In fact I love this newborn shot so much that I have added it to my website portfolio.

It’s lovely to use different fabrics to enhance my black & white photographs. It adds to the wonderful gallery of finished pictures.

I’ve been working on some beautiful Christmas gifts this week. It’s fantastic that so many of my Client’s plan ahead. Tomorrow I shall be heading over to Barnes to see one of my Clients and her gorgeous two week old baby girl. It’s one of my favourite pockets of London. It feels so peaceful by the river. If you live in the area there is a great network for Mums on Barnes Mums. These websites are invaluable for finding local groups and meeting other families in the area.

Even in the winter months, I love those crisp sunny walks in London. If I have time I’ll try to stop off in Richmond and visit the beautiful Kew gardens. My husband and I took our children recently to the fantastic Hive. it was mesmerising, I could visit every day. The education centre was also fantastic for the children. The honey tasting & bees wax candle making were a particularly popular with my daughter.
