I love this family portrait of Grandad, Mummy and their precious little girl. Taken at a Family Photography session in Islington. They were both so incredibly proud of their little girl. You can see how much joy she brings to their lives in their smiles!

One of my favourite shots of the day which I thought perfect to make you smile this Friday evening. I’m always pleased when my Clients ask if Grandparents can be involved in their photography session. Capturing three or four generations of one family certainly feels like an important job to do. I’m so pleased with the results from this session.

Their beautiful home was nestled in the heart of Islington, close to Upper street and not far from Regents Canal. I love Regents Canal , it is one of Londons best kept secrets and if I have time I’ll always take a walk there after my sessions. I was lucky enough to catch a free opera there too with my daughter a few years ago. In celebration of 200 years since work began on Regents Canal. It’s these little moments that make living in London so special. Getting out and enjoying everything the City has to offer with the family.

This evening I’m working through my most recent orders and edits. I can’t wait send them out to my Clients this weekend. It’s been very busy these past few weeks. I’ve been enjoying meeting lots families across London for their pregnancy, newborn, baby and family photography sessions. I was lucky enough to photograph a beautiful tiny newborn baby yesterday who was born three weeks early, so little we could curl her up in her parents hands but perfectly healthy and a dream to photograph with her parents.
