Hi All,
It’s been a very busy few weeks for me which has left me little time to update my blog and facebook page with all the lovely shoots I’ve been doing!
Today I had a wonderful morning photographing a beautiful 11 day old newborn baby girl and her older brother (2 years & 7months) at their home in Nunhead. I’m now staying out of the cold in my editing suite whilst I put their preview gallery together – I love the expressions on her brothers face and the little folds in her arms – so adorable!
My weekend was packed with lots of fun activities as I hosted my Great Ormond Street Hospital ‘Pop Up Photography studio’ at the Telegraph Hill festival in Brockley on Saturday. Despite the freezing weather and snow I met some lovely families and there are many gorgeous portraits which are currently being selected to raise money for GOSH. I will be adding more on that later and also sharing a few of the portraits taken that day.
On Sunday I started the day with a family portrait session in Ladbroke Grove to celebrate the christening of a gorgeous little 13month old baby boy with portraits for their christening cards. He was full of smiles and I even managed to capture some great portraits with his very lively older brother!
After my portrait sessions I always love getting home to my studio to view the results, the moments that have been captured on camera portray the personalities of the family and it’s often the inbetween shots that I like the most, a sideways glance or smile from the parents to their children and lots of laughing from the little ones!
This portrait taken at a recent family portrait session in Islington, it’s wonderful to see three generations of one family in a portrait and this little girl is certainly the apple of her Grandads eye!
I was lucky enough to have lots of giggles and smiles from beautiful little Stella during our session and I’ll be adding one or two more from this session soon.
