What a beautiful sunny day, Could SPring actually be here?!

I’m just preparing for my next newborn session today in Bermondsey with a 10 day old baby. Preparation for my sessions often starts the day before with hand washing and ironing of all the little hand made props I have for my newborn sessions or the sheer fabrics and silks for my maternity sessions. Camera equipment is checked, batteries charged and lenses cleaned, ensuring that everything is in working order ready for the photoshoot.

Finally I’ll check the original correspondence with my Client to make sure I have all the details correct and look through my inspiration mood boards to remind myself of any portraits we have discussed before the session.

This portrait was taken at a newborn baby photography session at my Clients home in Westminster, it was one in a series of portraits that they selected and I love the way she looks so at peace, gently resting in her Daddy’s arms.
