Sharing a few classic pictures from a Newborn Photography Central London session. Just look at how beautiful this newborn baby girl is.  I always find that placing newborns in my black & white photography studio really shows off their features.  Taking away the distractions of colour there is a beautiful calm quality to the pictures.

As with all my sessions I use a variety of handmade hats and nappy covers. I love this soft crochet hat with the long ribbons to trail around the baby. I always ask parents to select their favourite items from my selection. I also have light coloured blankets to photograph your newborn on. For this session the we chose this amazing white fur blanket.  It seemed like the perfect backdrop to photograph her in this natural position. I think it works really well and love the results from this session.

The last picture I took of her as she fell asleep in her Daddy’s arms. I love that as I took this shot she gave me a little sleep smile! It’s wonderful when that happens. A little sweet dreams picture.

This week has been super busy and I can’t believe we are in October already. I  have taken some wonderful baby portraits this week. I even had the opportunity to use my gorgeous new cream ruffle romper and headband. Perfect for Autumn & Winter portraits.

I’m a big fan of hypnobirthing and this week I’ve been really enjoying the instagram posts from YesMum. I love the idea of positive messages to start each day. Little notes to yourself. I’m looking at the Teen set for my nieces for Christmas. I’m even thinking of a set for my Mum. Such a beautiful idea and a great gift for Mums to be.
