I had to share this beautiful baby portrait on my blog today, from a newborn photography Chelsea session.
I’ve just been talking through the finishing touches for the family album with Mum this afternoon. I have to say it’s looking wonderful. A perfect mix of their pregnancy & newborn photography sessions. They chose one of my duck egg green leather albums with their names embossed to the front. It is one of my favourite colours and works so well with my black & white images.
We were rearranging some of the images in her album and she asked for this one to be larger. It reminded me how much I love this shot too. I remember taking it towards the end of our newborn session. Having captured the family & sleepy poses this little darling was wide awake. It was the perfect opportunity to get a picture of her nestled in her Mummy’s hands. She looked straight into my lens for this perfect shot.
There are a few other pictures from this session featured on my website here. Shared with permission.
It is another beautiful Autumn afternoon. I love how this wonderful crisp sunlight shines through the leaves on our street. The perfect time of year for little ones to kick up the leaves in the park. I managed to do just this after the School run with Sonny today. We are big fans of Telegraph Hill park and the stay and play group there run by local volunteers & parents. I would honestly be lost without it. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful parks in London.
My youngest is nearly two years old now and he just wants to explore, climb & run. These wonderful parks give him the freedom to do just that. I love watching him and following in his footsteps. It’s great to let him lead the way.
