A newborn photography session the beginning of the big adventure …..
I love my sleepy newborn photography sessions. This gorgeous baby girl is a delight. I loved photographing her at her home in Chelsea.
Picture perfect in my knitted newborn bonnet and matching nappy cover. Her amazing dark hair poking out under the brim. I loved working on the beautiful collection of shots from this session chosen by her family. Their finished collection included a set of retouched digital prints, a handmade genuine leather album, gallery framed print & announcement cards. With a combination of images from their pregnancy & newborn photography sessions.
The leather covers for the albums come in a range of colours. There is something to suit every taste. The family names and date of birth are embossed to the front to personalise. Each handmade finished album is then presented in a dust proof bag and box to keep it safe. I love the clever design of my albums. The images lay seamlessly across a double page spread. The photographic archival paper is the best quality for displaying your finished black & white images. Showing all the beautiful detail from the tiny fingers & toes to those long eyelashes. These really are family heirlooms to be passed down from generation to generation.
With so many books on the market these days I carefully choose my suppliers. I have been working with my London based book makers and framers for over ten years. They have years of experience and know exactly how to print my images. They are the highest standard available. Our close working relationship means that they understand the quality & style expected by my Clients.
It takes time to produce each book. Once the images are chosen each one is retouched. Then the images are sized and arranged in the album. I like the book to tell a story. Once I’m happy with the layout the proofs are sent to my Clients. From their we discuss changes and all alterations are made. Once in production the books take 10 days. I have had only positive feedback from these books. Many of my Clients buy additional albums which make wonderful Christmas gifts.
Each year I visit professional photographers trade shows to keep on top of any new products available. I like to ensure we are offering the very best to our Clients.
