Today I’m sharing some of these beautiful bump to baby shots from a Pregnancy and Newborn Photographer session in Clapham.

I love the way these pictures show the beautiful stages of welcoming your baby into the world. From pregnancy at 36 weeks to holding your newborn baby at just under two weeks old.  There is no greater feeling in the world than holding your baby for the first time.

These precious moments are wonderful to capture as a photographer. It is truly an honour to share in this incredibly special time.

The first time I met this couple was a few years ago for a personal portrait session. This was for a very different reason indeed. This lovely lady had just finished training to run a marathon and had worked so hard. As a gift her husband brought her a private photography session with me. To make sure her session was extra special arrangements were made for Ruth to do her hair & make up. Ruth is my recommended hair & make up artist who I have been working with for over four years. She has a natural style and a passion for beautiful flawless, natural make up which works perfectly with my black & white portraits. Ruth arrived before our session and made sure my Client felt relaxed & pampered before our photography session. I was so pleased with the results from this session. We kept everything very classic and she was so natural & beautiful. I was so pleased for them when a few years later I had a call to say they were expecting their first baby. It was lovely to return and capture this special time for them.
