Sharing few stunning pregnancy portraits from a recent session in Parsons Green near Hammersmith.

This was such a refreshing session, we tried lots of different looks and poses. I always listen to my Clients to understand what they want to achieve from their session. My Client loved the classic look of my black & white photography and wanted her pictures to have an elegant feel. Using sheer fabrics and lace helped us to accomplish this look.

I always like to take a few shots of just of the bump. It’s so nice to show off the beautiful shape which is defined against my black backdrop. For the shot below I used some very soft ivory silk, which I brought from one of the many fabulous fabric shops on Berwick Street in Soho. I love Berwick Street and often visit Soho, it feels like I’m immersed in old London when I’m there. This amazing silk works really well to soften the image. The wind from my wind machine gives adds a calm feel.

After our pregnancy session I was excited to return to capture their precious newborn baby girl. The portraits compliment each other beautifully.  Shot in the same classic black & white style. The images tell a visual story from bump to baby.

I’ve just finished preparing their completed order for them. I have to say I’m so pleased with the results. I can’t wait for them to receive everything.

I’m often in Hammersmith and always take a little time to stroll around my favourite spots. Parsons Green is lovely for a spot of lunch. I also recently discovered this great place http://www.cupcakefamilyclub.com/ Situated in the heart of Parsons Green this amazing space offer classes for children and adults. It also has a beautiful creche.
