Hi All,

It’s been a busy couple of months and I’m excited to tell you that Radio 4 have chosen to feature me in the series ‘Picturing Britain’ to be aired on 18th September (around 2.45pm I think if you’d like to tune in!)

I have photographed so many beautiful pregnant women, who have shared their individual stories and experiences with me – each one as compelling  as the next. I’ve discovered that women have so many different reasons for being photographed in pregnancy and each is truly personal, I’m thrilled that by capturing this beautiful stage I’m helping to create a lasting memory of this wonderful time.

For the Radio 4 series I was lucky enough to be on a shoot with Holly who kindly agreed to let the producer and interviewer onto our shoot to record our session. The results are stunning, Holly who started off unsure about being photographed whilst pregnant but wanting to capture her second pregnancy as her first had passed by with no record was very relaxed on the shoot and we chose to elegantly side light the shots whilst using a variety of sheer materials to gently cover her.

I’ve since been back to photograph her beautiful newborn baby girl and that’s one of the most rewarding parts of my work, her little girl is beautiful and Holly chose to have her photographed at just over one week old – the perfect time for those precious newborn shots.
