Private newborn photography session in your home, London UK – I’ve had some wonderful newborn sessions this week. It’s such a treat to welcome little ones into the world just before Christmas. My son was born in November and I loved snuggling with my newborn baby without a wish in the world to venture into the cold outside.
I’m sharing a sleepy newborn happily dreaming in a daddy arm cradle this evening. It’s one of my favourite pictures to do during a newborn photography session. I work with newborns every day and have years of experience settling & safely positioning them. I am also very sensitive to how new parents are feeling. The first weeks following the birth of your child are tiring and overwhelming at times. It’s important to me that everyone is relaxed and comfortable during the session. There is also the added benefit that your professional photoshoot will take place in your home. This is a very important part of making sure everyone enjoys their newborn session.
I have had parents go back to bed or fall asleep on the sofa whilst I’m photographing their baby. I’m very happy when this happens. It’s perfectly normal for a session to last three hours or sometimes more. It can take time to settle newborns and to achieve shots like this as they need to be sleeping.
I have a natural style of photography and will carefully work with your baby to ensure they settle gently into each pose. My professional & portable studio is perfect for creating these shots in your home.
Tomorrow I’m looking forward to travelling to South West London for a newborn twin photography session. Twins are amazing to photograph. I cant wait to meet them and their family.
There has been lots of work taking place behind the scenes this weekend as pre-Christmas is one of my busiest times of year. I’m looking forward to sharing some of these and other recent sessions on my blog soon. I have a huge stack of orders ready to dispatch on Monday morning.
