Beautiful & tender sister moments captured during a recent newborn photography session in North London.
I love the three stages of these portraits, the gentle cuddle, the little snuggle and then the cheeky little peak at me capturing her pictures. So sweet and such a lovely big sister!
This was a wonderful photoshoot as I first photographed big sister when she was a newborn and it was a pleasure to return to photograph her new baby brother.
I remember capturing similar moments between my two after my son was born. I was so exhausted and still recovering from a difficult labour but I knew I had to capture the two of them together as soon as possible. They are still my favourite shots of the both of them and I have them framed on my wall.
It is always my aim to make my newborn photoshoots as relaxed and easy as possible for the new parents and their family. Ensuring that I have everything ready to capture those precious moments whilst they rest and recover. Family portraits are wonderful and often feature as part of the session. These shots are usually taken towards the beginning of the photoshoot when the parents and older siblings still feel fresh and energised. Leaving them free to relax for the rest of the photoshoot whilst I focus on the baby portraits.
