Newborn Photography Session in Greenwich London
It has been a while since I’ve had a moment to add to my blog and I apologise for the silence! I have been updating my Instagram and Facebook pages when I can with recent newborn photography session’s. But it is hard to find the time to sit down sometimes!
2020 has got off to a wonderful start with lots of beautiful newborn photoshoots in and around London. I have loved meeting lots of new families on my journies so far and photographing their beautiful new arrivals. There is no greater joy than meeting a new baby and for me having the opportunity to create a truly special record of that time for the family.
Yesterday I was as far as Windsor photographing incredible sweet newborn twin boys! It made me so happy to be there with them. The twins were the most peaceful and gorgeous little new beings! It was also my first time in Windsor! Despite living in London for over 20 years, I hadn’t yet ventured that far, and it really isn’t that far!
I can see why the Royal family love it so much. It’s a beautiful place with a special feel. I loved the small alleyways, cobbled streets and old signage in the shops close to Eton. It felt like a step back in time and it was also a bright sunny day which gave me a spring in my step!
Newborn Photography Session in Greenwich London
Another favourite spot of mine in London (which is a little closer to home) is Greenwich. And this is where I went to photograph this gorgeous newborn baby girl. Greenwich is another place like Windsor for me. Steeped in history with views across London and full of memories for me of walks with my children, from babies to toddlers to the bigger children they are now! Greenwich has been and continues to be their playground! And what a wonderful playground it is too!
This little darling slept through the entire photo shoot. I captured lots of beautiful moments with her parents and this is one of my favourite shots. The blanket is hers and I believe was a gift, I love including personal items in my pictures. As well as using my own outfits and blankets it is nice to include some things which have significance for the family. There is a soft and gentle feel to the folds of the blanket and her sweet peaceful expression with little fists clenched tight as she sleeps makes this picture for me.
Lost in that blissful baby world, safe, happy and loved.
