Pregnancy Photographer London, I’m so happy to share this beautiful series of portraits. From a recent pregnancy photography session in West London. Celebrating this lovely mother to be’s beautiful bump!
Capturing those precious moments before your first baby arrives. The perfect time to take time. To contemplate motherhood, reflect on your pregnancy and have some special time with your partner before your baby arrives. I love these session’s and getting to know my Client’s before they become parents. The intimate setting of your own home makes the most comfortable environment for your pregnancy photoshoot. With my portable studio, wind machine and fabrics I work with my Client’s to create professional pregnancy portraits in their home. I also have a wonderful hair and make up artist team. Bookable separately through me, they will come to your home before our photoshoot to get you camera ready. I work with professional makeup artists who have a natural style and ability to put my Client’s at ease.
This beautiful dress and flower headband were my client’s own. It’s lovely to incorporate personal items and work with my Client’s vision to achieve the shots they would like. This dress is elegant and works beautifully with these classic maternity portraits.
I’m also slightly in love with this brilliant T-shirt worn by my client for her couple portrait. I managed to find it on Amazon – it’s by Happy Mama – isn’t it great! I almost wish I had a bump again so that I could get one!

Royal Baby Announcement
Congratulations to Her Royal Highness The Duchess Cambridge and The Duke of Cambridge on the birth of their baby boy!
I couldn’t resist sharing this patriotic picture to mark the occasion!
This little cutie was photographed on his Mummy’s Union Jack chair. To celebrate their baby’s arrival and with a nod to the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2012!
It remains one of my firm favourites and my new Client’s always ask if we can recreate it. It is a very striking image and it looks even more beautiful in print. I am always happy to incorporate props and items from my Clients home in their portraits. Provided that they will work in the photograph. I recommend that ideas are discussed with me before the photoshoot. This is to ensure that it will work with my style. I provide advice on guidance throughout the photoshoots. Both before and during to help get the most out of each photoshoot.
A family of 3! What’s your perfect number? I was enjoying listening to all the radio call in’s today whilst travelling home from my photoshoot. I am actually the youngest of three girls. For us 3 really was the magic number. We are all close and our parents ensured we all felt equally loved. I know it isn’t easy though in no way shape or form! We’ve decided to stop at two children but more and more of our friends and my Client’s are going for number 3! It’s the last baby, the final little darling to hold and cherish and why not!
So many callers commented that after 2 one more makes little difference. Of course it is different for everyone but I’m sure the Royal family will manage just fine. With a Royal wedding to look forward to next month as well, it’s going to be an exciting year for the Royal family!
Now it’s time to get back to my two, bathtime, bedtime and perhaps time for a me to have a quiet cup of tea in between!

Baby Photographer London, updates from the week.
What a beautiful weekend we’ve all had in London. It felt more like mid August rather than late April. We basked in the sunshine and the children spent all weekend splashing around in the swimming pool!
I also had time for some wonderful newborn and baby photography sessions. Starting the weekend in St. Johns Wood to revisit a newborn Client for their 6 month baby photoshoot. It’s also such a treat to do this. I love the 6month baby stage. Those gorgeous chubby little arms and all of those amazing smiles! Timing is essential for these session’s. I always check with Mum what their current nap routine is before the photoshoot. I like to arrive after or just before their nap finishes so that I can capture them at their best time of day. These photoshoot’s are much quicker than a newborn photography session.
As always I will take family portraits as well as plenty of baby portraits in my portable studio. This shot however was one of my favourites. I just love those big eyes gazing into the camera. Chosen as the fine art print by my Clients it looks absolutely stunning printed.
Each of our mounted prints are printed on fine art archival print paper. Giving the final images an exquisite quality. We’ve been working hard recently with our chosen framers and book makers on some beautiful new products. I can’t wait to share the photographs of these with you soon. Once we’ve put the final touches to our sample range.
As I’m writing this in my studio before beginning my day of retouching I’m looking out the window at the deflating paddling pool and the grey clouds sweeping overhead. What a difference to yesterday. I think Summer may be departing for now but I am hoping that’s not it for us Londoners. London is such a different place in the sunshine. I love this city all year round but especially in the sunshine!
The rest of my week is jam packed, starting tomorrow in Islington for a baby photoshoot, then Notting Hill for a pregnancy photoshoot, Chelsea for a newborn photoshoot, W9 for a 6 month baby photoshoot and finishing the week in Kensington for a newborn photoshoot. This is the whole week by the way not all tomorrow! I’m absolutely loving working with so many amazing families and can’t thank you all enough for choosing to capture these special moments with me.
I have no availability left now for April but there are still a few May spaces so please do get in touch if you would like to schedule your pregnancy, newborn, baby or family photography session with me.

It is just the perfect day in London today. Feels like spring has finally Sprung!
I’m catching up on my editing and retouching work in the studio today. There is so much to be done, I’m working through my orders from all of my beautiful March photoshoots at the moment and preparing to add all of our Easter sessions.
I’m out on location for the rest of the week at photoshoots so today is my dedicated studio day. I like to make myself a cup of coffee or pukka detox tea, put the radio on and open the windows to let the fresh air rush in whilst I work. I have to make sure I dedicate a certain amount of time each week to orders and retouching. Like all working Mum’s it can be hard to find the right balance and the golden time when my two our at nursery and school has to be used as efficiently as possible.
With each image requiring special care and attention, orders do take time to prepare but I want the results to be perfect. Beautiful print quality and images that stand the test of time are what my Client’s have come to expect and our attention to details and high quality control is always maintained. I work closely with our dedicated team of printers, book makers and framers to ensure all products and images are perfect before dispatch.
Today I’m sharing a few images from a gorgeous newborn photography session. I had the pleasure of returning to photograph this gorgeous little one following my pregnancy photoshoot with Mum & Dad at their home in Kensington & Chelsea. They have chosen to keep their pregnancy portraits private but are happy for me to share their newborn pictures with you. I work with lots of high profile & celebrity Client’s and my work from these photoshoots is private and very rarely available for viewing. Permission is always granted by my client’s for pictures shown on my website.
This little one was slightly older than my usual newborns but I love the results. He was super curious and awake at the start of the session but my white noise and warm posing station soon lulled him into a peaceful sleep.
Mum was from Russia and she wanted to incorporate one of her beautiful Russian hats. I love how he is stretched out and cosy on this one.
Thank you for all the lovely messages and enquiries following my appearance in “Born in Chelsea” . Where I can be seen photographing Bink Felstead when she was pregnant with her daughter. Binky’s photoshoot took place at 37 weeks but I usually recommend maternity photoshoots for between 34-36 weeks. Just incase baby decides to arrive early! The newborn session will take place within the first three weeks. The date can be pre-booked if you are having a planned delivery or I will reserve a time period around your due date and wait for the news of your arrival!
For those of you who have emailed me for further details about my studio photoshoots (as the one shown for Binky) I will get back to you each in turn as soon as possible. It has been incredibly busy and I’m working through all of your enquiries in turn. For now though I think you can still view the trailer on the Hello magzine website and see me pop up!

How lovely to incorporate something so special as a wedding veil into a pregnancy and newborn photoshoot.
This before and after set featuring the beautiful lace veil both covering the bump before baby arrives and then covering baby as she gently sleeps are two of my favourites.
I’m so thrilled with the results from these photoshoots and loved designing their beautiful handmade album and frames. Our albums are all made to order, bound in beautiful soft leather in a range of colours by master bookbinders, embossed with your family name and presented in a dust-proof bag and embossed box. A real family heirloom.
It’s always nice to receive feedback and I received the sweetest personal message from my Client following receipt of their album .
” Dear Elle,
What an incredible album. That is on a completely different scale to any other album I have ever ordered. Thank you for such an amazing present for my wife. She absolutely loved it.
Everyone loves the cards too, thanks!
Best wishes for the new year
V & C “
This year I’ve been very lucky to revisit many of my Clients. Some I have known since my very first photoshoots after creating Elle Fallon Photography and I have been photographing their children as they grow over the years.
It is always a thrill to return and see how their little ones are growing. To be greeted like an old friend and to see their gallery of pictures I’ve taken for them over the years lovingly displayed in their homes.
It is a great honour and privilege to be asked to photograph such precious moments. Beautiful, intimate and iconic images that will be treasured by the family for generations to come. I’m very lucky to continue to meet and work with so many wonderful families.
As a mother and as a photographer sometimes getting the balance right can be tricky. Like all Mums my days are packed and full but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love my work and my children but we all need some help every now and then. We are not superhuman after all – although sometimes it feels that way.
I’ve recently met an incredible mother, author and pilates teacher. She has written a wonderful book for Mums which I just have to share with you all! The mothers wellness toolkit – I swear all Mums must have this in their handbag! Please check out her website when you have a moment

Thank you for looking, more pictures from recent photoshoots coming soon.
