Just a perfect little girl in a cute frilly baby nappy cover. I love this shot from a baby photography session at her home in Hammersmith.
I first met her parents for their pregnancy & newborn photography sessions with their first born a few years earlier. It as wonderful to return to see them all again.
They even had the same amazing stalk outside their home to celebrate the arrival! Plus beautiful balloons & cards. It’s so sweet when families celebrate in this way. I love the idea that a stalk delivered the baby. I imagine that Dad rushed back to put everything in place before they returned from hospital.
I set up my studio in their home and created a cosy space for them all. It was fantastic to see them all together as a family of four. Their eldest daughter, now three years old, I hadn’t seen since our newborn session. I loved comparing the two, they were so similar! It was very special to capture some more precious moments for the family.
In-between set ups we managed to catch up on news and have some tea. I love chatting to other mums about their favourite mum sites and local baby groups. One of my firm favourites is still the amazing netmums which I use for almost everything! Full of great local group recommendations and tips. It’s a must for all Mums.
I captured some wonderful moments including baby on her own, mother & baby, father & baby, big sister & baby and family portraits. I’m just sharing the one today as I love this shot so much. I think it needs to be seen on it’s own.
