This was such a gorgeous newborn photography session in Dulwich. I returned to meet this beautiful newborn baby boy just weeks after my pregnancy photography session with Mum.
With three older brothers this little ons is not going to be short of playmates. The session was timed perfectly. I arrived early in the afternoon whilst the three older brothers were out with their nanny and friends in the park. This allowed us enough time to focus on the new arrival. Capturing intimate moments with Mum and some beautiful sleepy shots. I also managed to get some perfect awake moments. I love this one that I’ve featured of him curled up on his tummy.
When his brothers arrived home there was much excitement! I had met them previously for their pictures with Mum at her Maternity photoshoot. We managed the pregnancy session in the same way. Starting when the boys were at school to capture just Mum and her bump. Then introducing her children into the pictures when they returned home. It was a great way to get the most out of both sessions. Children have short attention spans and I like to keep the session quick and fun for them.
This picture of all four boys is one of my favourites. Just look at the little one on the left! He looks absolutely chuffed to bits! I’m pleased to report that they were impeccably well behaved. It was a treat to capture this special time for them.
Since I moved to London I have always lived close to Dulwich, Nunhead, Peckham & Brockley. I love the leafy and expansive parks of South East London. Dulwich village is one of those rare gems in London. Tucked away, it is picture perfect nestled between the grounds of Dulwich college and Dulwich park. There are no shortage of things to do and places to visit. There are often family friendly events run by the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Worth looking at if you are in the area.
