Maternity Portrait Photographer London

I am so happy to share this portrait of a truly radiant mother-to-be. This was such a joyful maternity photoshoot and I think this image captures the mood perfectly.

Preparing for your photoshoot

I am always very conscious that there may be some nervousness about the photoshoot. Particularly if you are someone who is not used to standing in front of a camera. You may even feel a little self-conscious about how your body has changed and yet still want to capture your pregnancy as a personal record.

My aim is to always make you feel happily relaxed throughout your photoshoot. I believe that to truly capture the energy of the moment you have to be completely at ease with me as your photographer. Some of my favourite portraits that I capture are what I call the ‘in-between shots’. There is always a moment in every photoshoot when it’s almost as if everyone has forgotten the camera is there but I’m still constantly taking pictures. This was one of these moments. You can just see her laughter and happiness and that we were completely at ease.

I do think that having your photoshoot at home also helps with this. It is private, familiar and of course comfortable. With access to your own bathroom, robes, make-up, accessories, and clothes. I am very used to adapting my studio to fit the space when I arrive and I can make it work every time.

Pregnancy & newborn photography

My most popular photography package is without a doubt my pregnancy and newborn package. It is a wonderful way to create a record of your bump to baby journey.

I have a natural and classic style of photography and I like to create pictures that complement each other beautifully. Images that would work well displayed as a series of framed fine art prints on the wall or in a beautifully handmade album. However, you choose to display your finished images I have lots of options available.
